Racingline Magnetic Drain/Fill Plug Set for Haldex (Gen.5) – VWR180002 Catch any ferrous particles in your oil with RacingLine’s Magnetic Haldex Plug set to protect your AWD system. If you drive one of the smaller all wheel drive VWG models, it will use the Haldex system. It’s a clever coupling system that allows the rear drive to be brought in only as it is needed when front wheels loose traction. What does it do? The Haldex oil is very specific and promotes friction between the faces of the multi-plate clutch setup. Inevitably, this wear between the plates causes minute particles to slowly build up as a sludge within the oil. This sludge builds up around the pump’s oil strainer, which gradually stops the Haldex system from working properly. Many owners have experienced their AWD car slowly becoming FWD as this filter blocks up. Our new RacingLine Magnetic Haldex Plug attracts and separates out these minute abrasive and ferrous metal particles, stopping them circulating around the Haldex’s lubrication systems and reducing the sludge that blocks the filter. Racingline Cup Edition Intake System VWR12G7CUP The VWR Cold-Air Intake System kit delivers cold fresh air from outside the engine bay straight to your engine via a large-diameter free-flowing intake pipe. The intake uses an oversize domed High-Flow TriFoam™ air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. This extra surface area provides even more airflow with lower restriction, to ensure that the largest volumes of the coolest possible air is available to the engine at all times. This maximizes efficiency and improves driveability and torque throughout the rev range – turbocharger spool dropped nearly 500 RPMs, reducing turbo lag and creating faster turbo response. Racingline Open Cone Intake The intake uses a fully formed black powder-coated aluminum shield which separates the high flow triple-layer filter from the hot air of the engine bay.  The shield extends not only up to the underside of the hood/bonnet, but also underneath the filter unit ensuring the best possible separation of cold, fresh air from the heated air of the rest of the under-bonnet area. As a race-bred intake system, you can hear the rich induction noise as soon as you first accelerate hard.  With the increased airflow from this system, you will also not miss the sound of the diverter valve opening when you lift between gears.
