If you are unsure, please don't hesitate to call us on 01452 380999.  When you fit a Forge turbo actuator you will be able to fine tune and manage your specific boost requirements, this will allow for improved response and better control. This product is built with a predetermined actuator spring suitable for, or slightly above factory boost levels. The actuator can be assembled with a stronger spring upon request for tuned vehicles, and where a higher boost level is required. Please contact us directly concerning this process. It is designed and built with the intention of increasing the boost output of a turbocharged system. We cannot guarantee compatibility with all applications, nor the ability to increase the boost output beyond a level that is within the parameters set by the engine-management-system of the given vehicle at the time of installation, whether that system is factory or aftermarket Diaphragm sealed internals are the default selection for this actuator product but customers now have the option of piston sealed internals. Unique to Forge Motorsport, this innovation offers equal performance to the diaphragm type and low maintenance due to the hard wearing nature of piston sealed valve internals. This kit comprises of three silicone hoses complete with CNC alloy couplers and the highest quality stainless clamps. This oil catch tank kit is the product of many months of intensive research and development by our in-house development team, and the end result is by far the most complete oil collection system currently on the market. Not only is it beautifully designed, it has been created to capture the maximum amount of harmful contaminants, including oil deposits, unused fuel vapours and moisture, all of which would ordinarily make their way back through to the inlet of the engine. Extensive testing has proven our oil catch tank kit's ability to effectively reduce sludge and carbon build up, in turn allowing the Golf Mk5 GTI's TSI engine to both breathe and perform more efficiently. It can therefore be viewed as a genuine performance enhancing product and one we recommend any Mk5 GTI owner seriously consider, particularly if they are planning more advanced power tuning at a later date.   The 0.4l (400cc) catch tank boasts a slew of features intended to make it both easy to check and simple to drain, including a dipstick for level inspection.   The design of the kit has also been carefully considered, hence its inner tube which is constructed from anti-static smooth fuel resistant nitrile rubber. This is paired with an outer cover made from reinforced stainless steel wire braid (a Forge specialty), specifically a partial inner braid and a full cover outer braid. We developed this complex arrangement in order for the tank to be resistant to both pressure expansion and vacuum collapse, and also to enable the kit to function within a clearly defined temperature range – 54°C to +150°C (-65°F to 300°F)   Finally, the kit features a pair of stainless steel reinforced oil resistant hoses with black external braiding, which combine with the supplied fittings to form an OEM-looking product when installed. This induction kit is for the Mk5 Golf R32. The filter is a PiperCross high flow Foam cone filter housed in a carbon fiber composite enclosed canister that connects directly to the an intake pickup at the front of the vehicle with an application specific inlet scoop. Everything is connected via high quality silicone couplers. The system creates a true ram air effect, and will only see airflow from outside the vehicle with absolutely no hot air from within the engine that could reduce power. We have dyno tested this kit, and have seen gains as high as 10 peak wheel horsepower improvement over the stock airbox and filter on Stage 2 tuned vehicles. Whilst Power gains may vary depending on your modifications and level of tune, this kit will offer a significant improvement over the original air box* *Please note some models have a noise resonator connected to the air intake pipe that will have to be disconnected and left unused when installing the Forge Motorsport induction kit.
