This part fits as an insert for the Gearbox Mount. The rubber on the original mounts degrades and soften with time resulting in excessive engine and gearbox movement. This insert is developed to fit in and around the voided sections of the original rubber mounts to restrict movement at higher torque levels. This provides a cost-effective way of improving engine stability, gear shifting, power delivery, and vehicle handling without the increased NVH associated with more expensive full replacement aftermarket engine mounts. The PFF19-2025 poly engine mount insert is available from stock and backed by the Powerflex Lifetime Warranty. Although not a necessity, many of our customers fit the PFF19-2026 gear box insert at the same time for ultimate ST torque control. Ford Fiesta Mk7 ST (2013-) Front Upper Engine Mount Insert PFF19-2025 This is an insert to fit into the original mount to limit movement of the engine to provide stability under acceleration. If fitting this to a diesel engined vehicle, an increase in noise and vibration is to be expected. This should be considered as a performance upgrade. Diagram Position: 25 Number of Bushes Supplied: 1 OEM Part Number: C1BY-6F012-BA OEM Part Number: 8V51-6F012-AJ Fitting Instructions:1. Clean any dirt and corrosion between the engine mount and the engine mount plate.2. Twist the polyurethane insert bush to open the bore along the split line and proceed to align the bore around engine mount rod. Once the bore is aligned it should allow the polyurethane bush to return to its original circular geometry. Make sure the textured surface is facing the engine mount. As shown in Figure 1, Pt1.3. Take the supplied O ring and carefully stretch it over the engine mount plate onto and around the polyurethane insert bush. The O ring should fit comfortably in the radial groove around the insert; preventing the insert from opening. As shown in Figure 1, Pt2.4. Re-fit engine mount to the vehicle. Tension all hardware to manufacturers recommended torque settings.
