Revo Revo Stage 1 - Audi TTRS 8S

Please Note: Revo software purchased via CEUK must be installed at our Bradford Workshop. This Can Not be installed at another dealer or by yourself! STAGE 1 AUDI, TT RS, 2.5 TFSI - 2017> Power Torque Stock 400ps  354lbft  REVO Stage 1 Software from 455ps to 490ps  from 416lbft to 435lbft    ONLY THE DRIVEN Revo Performance ECU Software for the 2.5TFSI transforms the way in which the car can be driven. Out of the box, the RS3 demands attention and respect, and rightly so. With 400PS and 480NM torque, an incredible 5 cylinder soundtrack, less weight than the previous model and impressive acceleration times, all the right ingredients are there. Revo ECU Software unleashes the cars full potential and boasts a staggeringly impressive 490PS and 590NM torque, that’s +90PS and +110NM more torque than it rolled out of the factory with. Intensively tested and refined over twelve months, throttle response has been dialled in to give the driver a deeper sense of connection and involvement with the car, something the stock model seems to lack. Rather than being pulled, the hike in torque gives the feeling of a firm push from the bottom of your back, and it’s addictive. The car now begs to be driven hard, it’s now able to break traction in corners, and dares you to bury your right foot. Optimised power delivery and with much more torque at its disposal, you can now drop below 4000rpm and still pull hard out of any corner without hesitation. 2.5 TFSI ENGINE A common issue shared with the pre-facelift 8v RS3, the 2.5TFSI is extremely sensitive to heat and fuel quality. Initial stages of Revo’s Software development process involve pushing the engine harder than usual to find limitations and restrictions. The team found that running more power and torque offered no improvements in acceleration times, negatively affecting the cars ability to consistently perform. Exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) were found to reach up to 960ºC when stock, this highlighted the importance of monitoring EGT’s to avoid risking exhaust catalyst (CAT) and engine failure. Revo Performance ECU Software for the TTRS & RS3 not only utilises the factory safety functions but actually improves them. You can rest assured that your vehicle is able to take all you can throw at it with integrated features exclusive to Revo ECU Software including Cold Start Protection and Temperature Protection which actively monitor oil, intake (IAT) and exhaust temperatures (EGT) and reduce power if they get too high. There’s even an oil temperature based rev limiter should you get heavy footed before the engine oil has sufficiently warmed up.   SOFTWARE FEATURES SPEED LIMIT UNLOCKED The top speed limit for this vehicle has been raised. RPM LIMIT INCREASE RPM Limit has been increased for optimal performance. LEFT FOOT BRAKING Left foot braking has been enabled on this vehicle. TEMPERATURE PROTECTION Enhanced engine cooling from revised thermostatic control. COLD START PROTECTION Increased oil temperature based rev limit. SERIAL PORT SWITCH (SPS) Switchable software for fuel quality and low boost options.   GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME It all started in late May 2017 in Surberg, Germany when Revos calibration team got their hands on the latest Audi 5 cylinder engine, labelled DAZA by Audi. By travelling to Germany, Revo was able to get a head start on the re-engineering of this platform and get a feel for the potential of this as a performance package going forwards. Based on this initial assessment, Revo ordered their own 8S TTRS whilst continuing development through the Global Development Programme. Over a year in development, covering over 25,000 miles globally on both the RS3 and TTRS which share the 2.5TFSI engine, testing was carried out on 3 vehicles in the UK and 12 vehicles in 6 continents. Involving vehicles in Germany, Croatia, Malta, Australia, Peru, Russia, South Africa, China, Brazil and Mexico, Only Revo operate a Global Development Programme through their network of over 400 Revo Authorised Dealers worldwide. Access to vehicles on this scale enables the calibration team to fine-tune products before release, testing products in a wide range of climatic conditions including at altitude, with varying fuel quality and increased humidity. This also allows Revo to test how the Software performs in different driving scenarios including the drag-strip, track and sprint racing and of course, daily driving.   POWER GRAPHS   PERFORMANCE TIMES Performance testing was carried out in Malta with an ambient temperature of 20ºC. 2018 Audi RS3 with DSG transmission. • Revo Pro Panel Air Filter - Audi TTRS 8S - Car Enhancements UK

Revo Revo Pro Panel Air Filter - Audi TTRS 8S

Revo ProPanel FilterHigh-Performance Air Filters OVERVIEW The Revo ProPanel is a high-grade direct replacement filter for your vehicle. Designed as direct replacement filters to fit inside your factory air box and are suitable for road or competition use.   BENEFITS Designed to increase horsepower and rate of acceleration Exceptional filtration High airflow with three layers of foam Lifetime warranty Lasts up to 60,000 miles before cleaning is required depending on driving conditions Works with original manufacturers air box   DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE Why choose foam? Because, compared to paper or other filter technologies, reticulated polyester foam achieves optimum performance against three key criteria: Maximum airflow: the ability to allow air to pass through without causing a large drop in pressure. Cleaning efficiency: the capability to arrest a high proportion of airborne dust while feeding the engine clean air. Dust load-up tolerance: the capability to absorb a large amount of dust without reducing airflow capacity. This design of filter has been used in all fields of motorsport from Formula 1 to the World Rally Championship. The range receives this same attention to detail at the design stage and is then taken into production with consummate quality.   THREE LAYER FOAM SYSTEM Revo ProPanel Filters use multi-layered foam technology to trap dust and dirt while maintaining flow efficiency over time. Using foam increases the filter's surface area and is washable, compared to standard paper and cotton filters which trap dust on the surface and become less efficient the more they are used, choking the engine and reducing performance. The outer core is a coarse foam designed to trap larger particles, the second layer is a medium foam designed to trap most particles and the inner core is fine foam which will trap any particles small enough to reach it. The triple layer foam design ensures an exceptional level of engine protection and long-term performance advantage.     1: Stainless steel wire mesh To avoid erosion, only the highest quality steel is used.   2: Course outer layer:  Stops large pieces of dirt and foreign matter from penetrating further. Straightens airflow into subsequent layers.   3: Medium grade middle layer:  This second filtration layer traps most of the harmful dirt that leads to engine damage.   4: Fine inner layer:  Extracts fine particles while allowing full air flow to the engine for maximum power.     ADVANTAGES OF A REVO PROPANEL FILTER Emissions legal in all 50 US states Will not void vehicle warranty Lifetime warranty (to original purchaser with proof of purchase)     FITTING      Manufacturer Model Engine Year Audi RS3  2.5 TFSI  2015 > Audi TTRS  2.5 TFSI  2016 > VW Arteon  2.0 TDI  2017 > VW Passat  2.0 TDI  2014 >

  • Revo Carbon Series Intake - Audi TTRS 8S - Car Enhancements UK

Revo Revo Carbon Series Intake - Audi TTRS 8S

FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION The Revo Carbon Series Air Intake system is a direct replacement kit and includes a beautiful carbon lid designed to increase the flow of air by utilising the enlarged diameter outlet and increased volume. The Revo Panel Filter upgrade replaces the restrictive stock paper filter, and a Revo carbon intake pipe allows air to flow smoothly to the turbo from the airbox, resolving the restrictions found during flow testing of the OEM system to improve your engines response and the power it can create. KEY FEATURES Increases air volume Enlarged airbox outlet Smooths air flow and reduces restriction Direct replacement carbon fibre kit Proven performance benefits KIT CONTENTS Carbon airbox lid Carbon intake pipe Silicone airbox hose Silicone reducer Propanel Filter CARBON AIRBOX LID Manufactured using the highest quality materials, the Revo carbon airbox lid directly replaces the standard plastic part with an increased outlet size of over 13% being fed by specially designed airflow channels. A gloss carbon finish coupled with impressive performance benefits delivers in form and function, looking great in the engine bay yet still performing above and beyond the OEM part. CARBON INTAKE PIPE The newly designed carbon fibre pipe smoothly tapers from the airbox to the turbo, removing the corrugated plastic section of stock pipe and provides the smoothest possible airflow. The 20% size increase and thermal properties of the carbon keep intake temps lower, allowing the 2.5 TFSI engine with Revo ECU performance software to produce more power. PROPANEL FILTER Revo Panel Filters use multi-layered foam technology to trap dust and dirt while maintaining flow efficiency over time. Using foam increases the filter's surface area and is washable, compared to standard paper and cotton filters which trap dust on the surface and become less efficient the more they are used, choking the engine and reducing performance. AIRBOX SILICONE HOSE No detail has been overlooked when reducing restrictions within the stock airflow system. The stock corrugated plastic hose is replaced with a smooth silicone one, reducing air turbulence. A three-ply construction with the addition of fluorine for added protection, increases strength to prevent collapsing under pressure. Internal steps flush fit against the stock air box and the turbo inlet, creating a smooth transition between components ensuring the smoothest airflow. SILICONE REDUCER To ensure smooth airflow from the carbon intake to the turbo inlet, a tapered 4 ply silicone hose has been designed with includes a full fluoroline inner to protect against oil vapour. The silicone has perfectly matched internal steps to reduce any unwanted turbulence through the transition of parts, the steps are match to the outer diameter of the carbon pipe, and the internal diameter of the turbo inlet.   PERFORMANCE Testing was carried out with consistent conditions on both the OEM intake and the Revo Carbon Series Air Intake System on a 2018 Audi TTRS running Revo Performance ECU Software. While dyno testing for performance gains, VCDS software was used to log airflow with a full AEM logging suit used to monitor temperatures. The Revo Carbon Series Intake increased vehicle performance, especially over 3600rpm with 16whp and 31NM gains, highlighting the performance benefits over the stock components.   AIRFLOW The only way to fully test the maximum airflow and restriction was to test both the stock and Revo intake on a controlled Flow test bed. The testing was carried out using a 76mm orifice plate to simulate the size of the stock turbo inlet. The Carbon Series Revo system had far less restriction than the OE unit, at 480CFM the stock unit was seeing 452mmwg restriction while the Revo unit only saw 371mmwg some 21% less restrictive, even at 540CFM the Revo intake only saw 467mmwg restriction and still had more headroom. The graph below shows the flow test and comparison between the OE and Revo intakes.   FITTING   Manufacturer Model Variant Year Audi TTRS 8J 2017> Audi RS3 8V 2018>   DOCUMENTS The following documents are available to view: FITTING INSTRUCTIONS Download the Revo Carbon Series TTRS Intake Instructions

  • Revo Intercooler | AUDI TTRS 8S - Car Enhancements UK

Revo Revo Intercooler | AUDI TTRS 8S

REVO INTERCOOLER AUDI TTRS 8S 2.5TFSI The Revo Intercooler utilises unique design features to lower intake air temperatures, minimise pressure drop and allow the engine to produce impressive power and torque with Revo Software. The unique end tank profile promotes internal laminar flow by decreasing turbulence and increasing airspeed into the bar and plate core. This enhances charge air cooling giving you access to more power throughout the rev range. The limitations of the stock intercooler were apparent throughout testing. The stock part consistently struggled to manage charge air temperatures, even under normal driving conditions. The Revo Intercooler has been designed to improve on every restrictive element of the stock cooler, enhancing cooling efficiency by lowering intake air temperatures by up to 55ºC vs. the 8S TTRS intercooler, allowing you to drive harder, for longer. KEY FEATURES Bar & Plate Core Design Fully Cast End Tanks OEM Fitment with Integrated Crash bar Intercooler Pipes Included Up to 80% Increased Core Volume Over 55ºC Lower AIT   INCREASED CORE VOLUME The Revo Intercooler was built around a simple principle; create a cooler that can keep up with your demand for power. Designed from the ground up, the Revo Intercooler has an 80% larger core volume than the OEM part and offers perfect fitment. By integrating a reinforced OE crash bar, it allows access to a volume of unused engine bay space to be filled with the intercooler core. END TANKS DESIGN The stock cast end tanks on the 2.5TFSI cooler do provide elevated performance benefits over the typical plastic end tank coolers. However, the Revo end tank geometry maintains the largest possible cross-sectional flow area to and from the core. The width of the cooler makes for an extremely large volume end tanks, yielding impressive airflow. Coupled with a cast interior surface finish, the Revo end tanks allow air to flow freely without obstructions. End tanks play an important part in maintaining pressure and work in harmony with the core to promote airflow, the Revo end tanks are designed to offer the optimal balance between both of these key features.   BAR & PLATE Designed with a bar and plate core to maximise the efficiency of heat transfer, the pressure drop is also controlled as the air meets less resistance compared to that of a tube and fin alternative. The Revo Intercooler also features carefully specified fin geometry to maximise cooling properties while minimising flow restriction. The ambient core side utilises louvred fins to slow ambient airflow which improves heat transfer, while the charge core side features an offset internal fin design to balance surface area and air resistance to minimise pressure drop.   INTEGRATED CRASH BAR To increase the core size and volume the Revo intercooler has integrated an OEM crash bar, requiring extra provisions within the design to ensure correct fitment and crash bar rigidity. The welded connection has been reinforced with plates to transfer any force away from these areas and adding additional safety factors to the assembly. This also allows the dynamic weight of the intercooler to be distributed through the bar, rather than solely relying on the locating brackets at the bottom of the cooler.   INTERCOOLER PIPE UPGRADED Supplied with an upgraded aluminium mandrel-bent throttle pipe and a 6ply silicone charge pipe. The increased diameter pipework ensures the maximum performance by increasing system volume by over 27%. The internal diameter of each silicone is precisely matched to the outer diameter of the ribbed inlet and outlet connections along with a unique Flush Fit design, allowing a smooth transition between components. The throttle hard pipe also includes a water-methanol injection port. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT All Revo products are designed in-house using the latest 3D printing technology, CAD and CFD software. Every product is rigorously tested utilising an in-house Hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo intercooler minimises turbulence while maximising heat transfer, promoting cooler air temperatures and low-pressure drop. This helps retains power and torque throughout the rev range as highlighted during controlled Dyno testing. The Revo Intercooler was tested in-house to compare the performance against that of the stock Intercooler. First tested on a vehicle running the OEM Intercooler with Revo Stage 2 software (BETA), a Revo Carbon series air intake system and Milltek downpipe, the Revo Intercooler and pipes were then installed and tested in the same controlled environment to highlight the benefits of enhanced cooling. PERFORMANCE DATA Showing the last of six consecutive dyno runs, the efficiency of the Revo Intercooler over the OEM TTRS intercooler is highlighted. With peak gains of +40 HP & +41NM Torque, along with increased performance throughout the entire rev range. The stock intercooler struggles to effectively function in comparison to the Revo Intercooler which remained consistent throughout, INLET TEMPERATURE This is a metric used to confirm that testing on the Revo TTRS 2.5TFSI Intercooler. This is used to show that the air temperatures going into the intercooler were similar for each test, confirming that outlet temperatures shown in the following graphs are purely down to differences in intercooler design/construction. As can be seen, the inlet temperatures during testing were hotter on the Revo Intercooler, yet the Revo intercooler produced the lower outlet temps proving the cooling efficiency. OUTLET TEMPERATURE This is the main performance metric to illustrate that the Revo intercooler far exceeds the stock unit, in fact, one of the most effective Revo intercoolers to date. The graph illustrates the increased cooling performance of the Revo intercooler vs OEM TTRS intercooler over all six runs. The Revo Intercooler provided a massive 57.4°C max and 17.5°C average intake air temperature reduction across the six back to back full gear dyno runs.   INTERCOOLER PRESSURE DROP GRAPH Pressure drop is an important factor when it comes to choosing an Intercooler. The Revo solution features custom cast end tanks to evenly distribute air over the core. This graph highlights that even with massive core size difference there is only a 0.23psi pressure drop in comparison to the stock intercooler, ensuring engine response and minimised turbo lag. You can rest assured that your vehicle will drive and respond as you would expect standard; until you press that pedal!     FITMENT VEHICLE APPLICATIONS Manufacturer Model Engine Year Audi TTRS 2.5 TFSI 2017 onwards DOCUMENTS The following documents are available to view: FITTING INSTRUCTIONS Download the Revo TTRS Intercooler Instructions NOTES Simple replacement of the OEM part
