As part of our expanding Mk8 Fiesta platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our oil cooler kit for the ST model. Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving the car’s oil cooling ability for modified Mk8 ST owners who struggle to maintain steady oil temperatures on track, or during fast road use. With vast experience in developing uprated oil cooler packages for a variety of modified track and road cars, the challenge with this kit was to integrate a large capacity, external oil cooler neatly behind the front bumper. However, the Mk8 Fiesta has very limited available space directly behind the open grille area, which meant we developed an innovative solution that mounts the oil cooler in front of the right-hand side arch liner and is fed a constant flow of cool air by an air feed duct that’s included in the kit. The package also includes a AIRTEC Motorsport oil cooler, bespoke laser-cut and powder coated AIRTEC brackets, high quality braided hose lines with Aerotec fittings, a thermostat-controlled sandwich plate and all fixtures and fittings, including instructions, for a simple bolt-on installation. The kit is designed to integrate seamlessly with the car’s existing features and requires no drilling or cutting, so is completely reversible if need be. Its improved cooling efficiency and easy fitment makes it an essential modification for all modified Mk8 ST models. TECHNICAL DATA AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit for Mk7 Golf R   Following an extensive development process over the past year, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch its new oil cooler kit aimed at modified Golf R owners who struggle to maintain steady oil temperatures on track, or during fast road use.   Our kit has been designed in the UK after thorough research. The challenge was to integrate a large capacity, external oil-cooler, mounted behind the grille for direct airflow. This would replace the basic OEM oil heat-exchanger but would still integrate seamlessly by utilising the car’s original oil take-off fittings.   The comprehensive package we subsequently developed includes AIRTEC Motorsport’s CNC, billet take-off adapter, an AIRTEC oil cooler, a laser-cut oil cooler bracket, high quality braided hose lines with Aerotec fittings and all fixtures and fittings including instructions, for a bolt-on installation.   The kit has undergone extensive testing on race tracks throughout Europe to ensure engine running temperatures remain low and steady in a variety of different climates. While developing and testing our range of chargecooler radiators of Mercedes flagship A45 AMG, we took the time to develop a DSG oil cooler kit to reduce the high DSG gearbox oil temperature experienced under prolonged and high loads testing.    The large 13-row oil cooler is installed in the nearside lower bumper vent aperture that is unused on UK vehicles. This position allows optimum airflow to reduce oil temperatures. This kit has been re-engineered to fit face-lift Mercedes A45 AMG Models from 2016 onwards. Please note that the Pre-Face lift DSG oil cooler kit (FMDSG0C1) and Face-lift DSG oil cooler kit (FMDSG0C2) are not cross compatible due to the reprofiled bumper on later face-lift vehicles.   This kit is supplied with all the brackets and hardware required to install the 13-row oil cooler and CNC machined billet aluminium adapter plate.     Quality powder coated oil cooler housing bracket CNC machined and anodised adapter plate CNC machined and anodised banjo fittings Pre-assembled high-quality double braided AN-6 oil lines.       We recommend only using the correct Mercedes DSG oil to top up the gearbox (not supplied). This Oil Cooler kit has been specifically designed to fit the VW T5.1 fitted with the twin turbo diesel engine (180hp). The kit includes a filter sandwich adaptor which incorporates a thermostat, so that the additional cooling only takes place when required. The kit also includes a 13 row oil cooler and braided oil hoses, mounting brackets, and everything else required.
