Number Plate Tags - Installation Guide

In this guide we will explain our method on installing the number plate tags. We understand it may seem like common sense however this guide is for those who want a bit of guidance!

The tags can either be fitted with the number plates on or off the vehicle, this is your preference!

Warning:

The tape we use on the tags is STRONG - Once it bits / grabs you will struggle to remove it without snapping it or damanging it and/or your plate! Ensure you are locating it correctly before pushing down!

1: Cleaning:

Ensure you use warm soapy water to clean your number plate fully. Do not use a Ceramic or wax style shampoo, the aim here is to not only clean the surface but decontaminate it. Give the plate a good scrub, especially the front ensuring all flies and road filth is removed!

2: Drying

Ensure the plate is completely dry, we recommend using a drying towel first, then once you have dried it go over it with a piece of kitchen roll to ensure it is fully dry!

3: Decontamination

Once you have fully cleaned and dried the surface, use the supplied alcohol wipe to take off any remaining contamination

Note: Do not "Just use" the wipe, ensure you clean and dry the surface before using the wipe. The wipe will not clean the surface fully its more of a final wipe!

4: Install

Line up the tag where you want to place it, ensuring it covers all the visible sections and place it in a position you wish. There is no right and wrong position this is simply to taste! Once you are happy, remove the backing tape and firmly place it on the plate - holding firmly and flat for 30 seconds to ensure a tight bond.

Note: You may find the corner shape differs between our tag and your plate, Our corners should always be bigger than your plate and may overlap slightly, this is just to ensure the product fits on all number plates and is universal!

For option 2 users there may be a small border around the tag, again this is because all number plate holder sizes differ and we've tried making this as universal as possible!

5: Logo

Now the tag is firmly stuck in place, you can now insert your logo! At this stage you may decide you don'y want a coloured logo, this is absolutely fine and you can leave the logo out if you wish!

Remove the protective film from the logo (its harder to remove once installed) then remove the backing tape. Place the logo in its slot and again push firmly for 30 seconds to ensure a tight bond!

6: Protective Film

Once everything is installed and in its place, you can remove the protective film from the face of the number plate tag!

JOB DONE!

Enjoy your new look!
