    This version of our popular FMDV004 valve has the vacuum connection on the side of the valve which is ideal for those applications where space is restricted.  Made from billet aluminium, this atmospheric diverter valve dumps the charge-air to atmosphere creating the "Whoosh" sound when the throttle is lifted. This increases both quicker throttle response and higher clamping load to maintain boost pressure more reliably. Unlike single piston or diaphragm diverter valves, this uses counter balanced springs and dual pistons to prevent the valve from leaking air into the intake system at idle.     The Forge RS valve has been specifically designed and engineered to offer extreme flow rate capability, where other valves are just not up to it. Often when engines have been tuned by installing larger turbos or even software upgrades improved turbo response can be acheived by fitting the RS valve which has the greater internal mass air flow specification utilising an amazing 50mm (2") bore. For fine tuning there is a variable spring preload incorporated and a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment that your driving style demands. To ease installation a 360 degree adjustable vacuum hose connector. With a choice of inlet and outlet connections the RS valve can be matched to your engine perfectly. This valve incorporates a unique conical, progressive rate spring that can allow for the retention of boost pressure from 7 to 22 PSI depending on the individual user's application and level of adjustment. If you are intending on running over 22psi then you will need the uprated spring which is included with the kit. This unique spring design will also allow for unrestricted piston travel and flow volume regardless of the amount of pre-load adjustment added to the spring. Other manufacturers valves using cylindrical springs with adjustable pre-load often experience restricted piston travel and flow volume within the normal range of valve adjustment.     This valve is an upgrade for the 2.0 turbocharged M133 DE20 LA (265 kW 355BHP version)  engine found in the Mercedes AMG A45 upto 2015. The engine as supplied by AMG has a port for a dump valve on the side of the turbo, but it is blanked off. Whilst this is fine for the stock level of tune, as the boost is turned up when the car is remapped, driveability can be effected and the car can stutter on hard acceleration, which ultimately will reduce the life of the turbo. Our valve bolts straight up to the turbo and is supplied with appropriate hardware in order to source vacuum to operate the valve. The valve features an aluminium piston for longevity, and is fully serviceable and can be rebuilt with a range of springs to suit your level of power. "Fitted to my Facelift A45 AMG.     This Recirculating valve is for the Mercedes 2.0 Turbo GDi engine found in the CLA250 that has the electronically controlled bypass valve. It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures that have occurred where the original rubber diaphragm splits, which causes a loss of boost pressure. Unfortunately the failure doesn’t always result in a check engine light as the valve can still be blown open by the boost pressure, so you may not be aware that you are losing power due to this. Our alternative is a fully engineered solution offering significantly improved reliability. Our valve is piston based with no diaphragm to fail, and of all aluminium construction.     The Forge Motorsport dump valve for the 2018-on VW Jetta 1.4 TSI engine. Please check to ensure your engine bay is the same as the picture below. The 1.4 TSI doesn’t have a dump valve from the factory, so this product allows you to have the traditional dump valve noise between gear changes and when letting off the gas pedal. It won’t bring on any check engine lights and the car will drive just as before. As the engine does not have a diverter valve fitted as standard, Forge have developed a twin piston dump valve that not only gives you an incredibly loud sound when lifting off the throttle, but also increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It has been designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also taking the strain away from the impeller. Without removing this stress from your turbo, it could cause premature failure. Especially on engines and modified vehicles. This kit totally replaces the plastic pipe from turbo to manifold with a silicon hose (available in a choice of colours), and everything else you need to install the valve is included in the kit together with full instructions. Unlike other valves on the market the Forge valve will not bring on any check engine lights. ( EML )  The Forge silicone hoses in this kit have been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Flurosilicone. This means the hoses are suitable to be used with modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) and oil mist. The construction of the hoses has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments, and will enhance any engine bay both technically and aesthetically. The use of a Flurosilicone liner ensures that Forge silicone hoses are the clear market leader. Lifetime warranty.
