Turbosmart's new Kompact VR09 Dual Port for the 1.0-litre EcoBoost is a billet aluminium replacement for the Fiesta's factory plastic BOV.The Dual Port is a 50-50 recirculation/vent-to-atmosphere valve for that classic vent-to-atmosphere BOV sound at high boost, and quiet operation at low boost. The standard bypass valve on the 1.0-litre EcoBoost engines is a weak, plastic, diaphragm-type valve - a type of valve that has a track record of failures. Turbosmart's billet aluminium replacement is manufactured with precision, designed for unlimited boost holding capability, excellent response times and heavy-duty reliability.The Fiesta's standard valve is controlled by a solenoid, meaning the ECU can decide when to open the valve - meaning it can be used to bleed boost, limiting performance. The Turbosmart VR09 Kit bypasses this solenoid, allowing the BOV/BPV to operate with manifold vacuum, putting control back in the hands of the driver, all with no check engine lights.Installation is straightforward, and the valve is a bolt-on direct replacement for the factory valve. A blowoff valve (BOV), dump valve or compressor bypass valve is a pressure release system present in most modern OEM road car applications. Its purpose is to prevent compressor surge / stalling and reduce wear on the turbocharger. These control valves remove the damaging impact of ‘surge loading’ by allowing the compressed air to vent away from the compressor wheel. This discharge can be heard as a distinct ‘dump valve’ hissing sound as it vents to atmosphere or back into the intake depending on the application and ECU airflow regulation. The Fiesta 1.0T Ecoboost uses an inexpensive electronic diverter valve as standard which is prone to failure and inconsistent results when used at higher boost pressure.Plumb Back Kompact Shortie Kit for Ford Fiesta 1.0TStock blow-off valves like those that come standard with the Fiesta 1.0 often suffer from a range of problems. Product Description The Forge Motorsport dump valve for the 2015-on 1.2 TSI engine codes CJZA, CJZC, CJZD, CYVB as found in the Skoda Fabia, Skoda Octavia, VW Golf, VW Polo, Audi A1, Audi A3, Seat Ibiza and Seat Leon. Please note this kit is only compatible with models that do not have a standard turbo mounted diverter valve. Earlier models that have a turbo mounted diverter valve as standard require the kit with part number FMDVA1TSI and FMDVATSI The 1.2 and 1.4 TSI doesn’t have a dump valve from the factory, so this product allows you to have the traditional dump valve noise between gear changes and when letting off the gas pedal. It won’t bring on any check engine lights and the car will drive just as before. This kit totally replaces the plastic pipe from turbo to manifold with a silicon hose (available in a choice of colours), and everything else you need to install the valve is included in the kit together with full instructions. Unlike other valves on the market the Forge valve will not bring on any check engine lights. ( EML ) The Forge silicone hoses in this kit have been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Flurosilicone. This means the hoses are suitable to be used with modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) and oil mist. The construction of the hoses has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments, and will enhance any engine bay both technically and aesthetically.
