To ensure this product would meet our exacting standards and performance, we carried out controlled testing on a Stage 4 Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0TSI running Shell vPower pump fuel on an in-house Dynapak hub dyno. With impressive results in comparison to the standard set up, peak results showed up to +41 WHP and +42 NM over stock with an average of +19whp and +25NM throughout the rev range.

In standard form, the Yaris GR’s throttle body is plumbed into the cooling system’s loop and coolant is circulated around the outside of it.
This direct replacement silicone hose has been specifically made by Pro Hoses to remove the throttle body from the cooling system, which is required if you are changing to a bigger throttle body.
The kit features one silicone hose, two bungs to and two jubilee clips to effectively create a bypass loop.

When looking at the B58 engine within the M140i/240i/340i/440i engine bay it’s clear that BMW had left some room for modification within the inlet tract, the sound resonator and accordion ribs cause significant turbulence to the airflow causing a detriment to the engine’s potential performance. By removing these, and replacing it with five-ply silicone construction you gain a host of performance upgrades, including:

Testing was completed using Performance Remap in Gloucester with their VTEC 4 wheel drive dynamometer, This was to ensure all our data has been achieved with results as accurately as possible by an independent tuner. The results below speak for themselves, also with the added benefit of being a very easy component to fit with no specialist tools this is superb, affordable modification for the BMW enthusiast.
From the dyno graph shown, performance gains can be expected from 4500RPM to the red line with +9BHP and +7NM of torque at peak RPM. Not only is FMINLH25 a functional improvement, but with it being available in black and red this product really helps to improve the aesthetics of the engine bay.
One major difference of FMINLH25 is the diameter of the hose at the airbox end. Usually this is 85mm diameter, however FMINLH25 is 90mm diameter, and uses a silicone reducer sleeve so that it fits the OEM airbox correctly. This increase of 5mm diameter allows the inlet hose to be used with a wider variety of airbox/intake systems while also increasing the volume and de-restricting the flow of the OEM part,
This product is a direct fit for the OEM part 13718601682 (just the turbo inlet to airbox section).

FMINLH26 is our replacement intake hose for the 2022- VAG 1.0 TSI engine. This is a direct replacement for the original plastic inlet hose. This is a simple fitment which replaces the entire restrictive rear factory plastic ‘bellows’ pipe between the airbox and the turbocharger inlet.
Constructed from reinforced high quality 5 ply silicone, this hose offers increased rigidity to prevent deformation from engine movement or heat cycles. Designed to match our enlarged turbo elbow, our in-house design engineer team have created an enlarged pipework kit to replace the entire cold side, from the intercooler all the way to the throttle body.
From the intercooler, our high-quality Pro Hoses silicone boost hose tapers up from 70mm to maintain 80mm all the way to the elbow, which equates to a 23% increase in comparison to the original pipework. Our AIRTEC Motorsport replacement cast aluminium elbow is nearly 10% bigger than standard and measures 85mm at its widest point, offering a significant improvement in flow and internal capacity. This improves throttle response and reduces restriction, which is key for those chasing increased power from their cars.
A direct replacement, the kit also features a CNC-machined throttle spacer that incorporates a meth port, if required.

With improved flow and increased strength over the original plastic items, our charge pipes link the turbos to the charge cooler and are suited to modified BMW M3, M4 and M2 Competition models for track or fast road use.
The pipes have been designed to improve the overall internal dimeter and flow of the original OEM pipes, which flatten considerably where they pass over the top of the engine. The original OEM pipes are also made from a lightweight plastic, and with the increased boost pressures associated with a remap or hybrid turbos, the plastic seams can split and form a hairline crack. This is often invisible to the eye, but it’s an issue that will affect the engine’s performance and the turbos’ longevity.
The AIRTEC Motorsport replacement pipes are constructed from alloy, so they will not fail with higher boost pressures and maintain a 57mm internal dimeter from the start to finish. Both pipes also feature a 1/8NPT port fitting suitable for a methanol injection set up, and the exterior of the pipes are finished in a subtle black powder coat.
The kit features two silicone joiners as well as two CNC-machined connectors to house the original BMW O-rings, with adapters for the replacement fixtures and fittings that come as part of the kit. Fitting takes around 2 hours and the original engine cover can still be fitted in place, but for a perfect fit, we recommend enlarging the apertures slightly, which can be done neatly in order to retain the original look.
