This intake is crafted of high quality hand laid carbon fiber with a fiberglass interior layer to achieve world class appearance and durability while resisting the performance robbing effects of heat soak. This intake has been subjected to rigorous real world testing with verified performance gains on our in-house chassis dyno resulting in an increase of 5WHP and 5WTQ on the APR Stage 1 tune. The ECS Tuning Center X-Pipe installs in place of the resonator located in the middle of the factory exhaust system to increase exhaust note and allow for better flow of exhaust gases. The engineers at ECS Tuning have designed a direct fit dual exhaust pipe featuring an X cross section in the center to balance exhaust pulses and increase expulsion of spent exhaust gases from the engine. But more importantly, installation of the Center X-Pipe increases the factory exhaust system note exponentially giving a more tuned European sound. The ECS X-pipe is fully CNC mandrel bent from high quality 304L stainless steel, tig welded with smooth merged pipe joints for optimal flow, and finished off with a soft brushed finish for exceptional looks.
