    TECHNICAL DATA As part of our expanding Audi/VW and Seat product ranges, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch our uprated auxiliary radiators for DSG or engine coolant suitable for track or fast road use. The IssueDuring extended periods of track or fast road use, particularly for cars with increased power, both the DSG transmission’s oil and the engine’s coolant can reach temperatures that are too high to offer sufficient cooling protection properties. As a result, there is risk of damaging the transmission and/or engine, so the car’s ECU will automatically limit the engine’s torque output and extend the gearbox’s shift times, which makes it feel notably less responsive and eager. It can even cause permanent damage, if it persistently overheats. The SolutionAIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to improving the DSG’s and engine’s running temperatures is to increase the size, capacity and ability of the original auxiliary radiators mounted behind either side of the bumper. By utilising the available space, we developed a replacement radiator that’s wider and thicker. This means capacity is increased by a huge 67% over standard, whilst frontal area is also increased  to help sufficiently cool the extra capacity. The core also features a quadruple pass design, which forces coolant entering it to pass up and down the core four times before it exits, increasing the time the coolant passes through the radiator to further decrease temperatures. The result is a radiator that is able to keep cooler for longer, therefore helping the car run at its optimum for longer. Despite the increases, the radiators fit neatly behind the bumper and requires only minor trimming of the original air duct to fit, otherwise using the OEM mounts and the original coolant connectors. To protect the larger radiator core from road debris, there is also a (removable) stone guard.     We’re proud to launch our front mount chargecooler radiator upgrade aimed at BMW B58 models for fast road or track use. The IssueAs the performance of chargecooled-engines depends on the temperature of the coolant inside the system, it’s very important to ensure it runs as cool as possible for as long as possible. As the standard system can struggle to maintain temperature, especially on a tuned application, the keys to ensuring a consistently lower running temperature are to increase the capacity of the system and its ability to cool it. The SolutionAIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to improving the original set up with the limited space available behind the bumper to make it any wider or taller was to instead extend it forwards by introducing a core that’s nearly 60mm thicker, at 90mm in depth. This allowed the use of a triple pass core design to allow the coolant to pass through the radiator three times before it exits, with capacity increased to a huge 23.3 litres, compared to the original 7.7 litres; a gain of 203%. Despite the huge cooling capacity increase that allows the chargecooler system to run cooler for longer, the radiator fits neatly behind the bumper and requires no modifications to fit, using the OEM mounts and the original coolant connectors. Importantly, to protect the larger core in its vulnerable position at the front of the car, there is also a protective stone guard fitted in place to deflect road debris that can cause damage, as OEM radiators have been known to fail when stones or similar flick up and permanently damage the core.     An all alloy radiator for the Megane RS250/265/275. With the known coolant temperature issues that are attributed to the original fitment radiator, this is the only real solution. The stock Renault radiator has a major design flaw in that the inlet and outlet are in a straight line across the core. At high engine rpm, when you need the most cooling, the maximum flow is straight across the core, missing out about 75% of the volume. Worse still, the 25% of the core with good flow is directly behind the crash bar and gets no direct airflow. Our engineers have maximised the surface area and utilised a high efficiency radiator core with a unique flow enhancement, to ensure that the coolant passes evenly across the entire core, and that the area of restricted airflow (behind the crash bumper) is taken into account. Following exhaustive testing on the road and dyno working with 3 different manufacturers of water core, we are proud to present the ultimate in frontal water cooling solutions. The uniquely developed Forge PolarCooler features: An increase of over 100% extra capacity using a 22 fpi ( fins per inch )  louvre super tech cooling core for maximum  cooling. The PolarCooler retains the OEM charge cooler radiator but flows into a front mounted extra auxiliary radiator that is front mounted. This design means it has no obstructions i.e. the condenser to affect its efficiency and performance .It is not placed directly in front of the coolant radiator and is last in sequence. This unique design has allowed inlet temperatures to be lowered by 20 degrees C (68 degrees F) in 3 back to back consecutive runs on the dyno. With the Forge PolarCooler the standard bleed point is retained on the OEM radiator. The Forge  PolarCooler has no extra header tank as the  OEM  system utilises a one way valve within the system that only opens if the water level drops e.g. taking in water when it evaporates All of the Forge coolant hoses have been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Flurosilicone. This liner means that the hoses are suitable for use with modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) and oil mist. The use of a Flurosilicone liner ensures that Forge silicone hoses are the best, longest lasting, and preferred choice of the discerning car enthusiasts. The construction of the hoses has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments, and will enhance any engine bay both technically and aesthetically. After installing our revolutionary MVT Intercooler, engine performance improved significantly. With the MK7 now producing 342.4hp & 433.3nm of torque, that’s an increase of +5.8hp & 15.2nm of torque without any additional tuning. What’s more impressive is the cooling power of MVT. Using sophisticated data logging software, we measured stock intake temperatures at 64°c. With MVT, intake temperatures dropped by 28°c! Thus, providing huge tuning potential and greater reliability when combined with a remap & supporting modifications. The perfect addition to any track or modified road car! We also went one step further by placing temperature probes into the inlet and outlet of the Intercooler. This allows us to accurately compare the difference in temperatures as the charged air passes though the core. Data for the stock intercooler showed us charged air temperatures dropped from 134.4°c(inlet) to 57.8°c(outlet). However, this figure was reduced down to 32.7°c(outlet) thanks to the efficiency of our MVT Intercooler.
