This Ford Fiesta clutch is a must-have upgrade for those running high-powered remaps, such as the VP245 and VP330 VUDU packages. The OEM Ford Fiesta ST clutch is designed to handle the torque output from the stock engines. When remapping your car the car's running power levels of torque increase and the stock clutch will struggle to handle that increase in pressure. This Organic clutch system has been designed and manufactured to significantly exceed the original clutch system whilst also maintaining OE pedal effort, thus delivering high torque capacity. The aramid friction exhibits 50% less wear than a conventional drive plate friction material. This material also reduces the effects of fade. Fade is the decline in the clutch systems ability to transmit torque as operating temperatures increase. These features in combination with the previously mentioned microstructure of spheroidal casting and ER2 technology allows the clutch kit to dissipate heat far more effectively, allowing the clutch to run cooler for longer.
