    TECHNICAL DATA As part of our expanding Audi/VW and Seat product ranges, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch our uprated auxiliary radiators for DSG or engine coolant suitable for track or fast road use. The IssueDuring extended periods of track or fast road use, particularly for cars with increased power, both the DSG transmission’s oil and the engine’s coolant can reach temperatures that are too high to offer sufficient cooling protection properties. As a result, there is risk of damaging the transmission and/or engine, so the car’s ECU will automatically limit the engine’s torque output and extend the gearbox’s shift times, which makes it feel notably less responsive and eager. It can even cause permanent damage, if it persistently overheats. The SolutionAIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to improving the DSG’s and engine’s running temperatures is to increase the size, capacity and ability of the original auxiliary radiators mounted behind either side of the bumper. By utilising the available space, we developed a replacement radiator that’s wider and thicker. This means capacity is increased by a huge 67% over standard, whilst frontal area is also increased to help sufficiently cool the extra capacity. The core also features a quadruple pass design, which forces coolant entering it to pass up and down the core four times before it exits, increasing the time the coolant passes through the radiator to further decrease temperatures. The result is a radiator that is able to keep cooler for longer, therefore helping the car run at its optimum for longer. Despite the increases, the radiators fit neatly behind the bumper and requires only minor trimming of the original air duct to fit, otherwise using the OEM mounts and the original coolant connectors. To protect the larger radiator core from road debris, there is also a (removable) stone guard. Finished in a high-quality powder-coated black finish, the fitting kit includes all fixtures and a detailed instruction fitting guide.     The 3.0 Liter S55B30 turbo engine for BMW M2/M3/M4 models is equipped with an indirect charge-air cooling circuit. So the cooling of the charged air is not realized by the ambient air as cooling medium (as usual), but made with its own cooling water circuit. A reduction of the temperature of the cooling water is directly equated with an improved cooling performance of the charged air. This is exactly where the advantages of the Masata upgrade water cooler comes into play. The new developed competition racing cores of the Masata high performance water coolers increase the radiator volume of the OEM water coolers by 89% for front mounted and 94% for side mounted. The calculated ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates a maximum heat transfer and allows at the same time enough air flow for the surrounding components (for example the engine water cooler) for its own heat exchange. The water coolers are equipped with a heat-conductive anti corrosion coating to ensure a lasting cooling effect.     AIRTEC Motorsport Chargecooler Radiator Upgrade for BMW M2 Comp, M3 & M4 (S55 Engine) AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’re proud to launch our front mount chargecooler radiator upgrade aimed at BMW M2 Competition/M3 & M4 models for fast road or track use. As the performance of chargecooled-engines depends on the temperature of the coolant inside the system, it’s very important to ensure it runs as cool as possible for as long as possible. As the standard system can struggle to maintain temperature, especially on a tuned application, the keys to ensuring a consistently lower running temperature are to increase the capacity of the system and its ability to cool it. AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to improving the original set up is utilise the available space behind the front bumper and develop a chargecooler radiator that measures nearly 100mm taller and 20mm thicker overall. This means capacity is increased by a huge 5.4 litres over standard, which is over double the capacity of the original. Frontal area is also increased by 40% to help cool the extra capacity. Despite the huge increases that will allow the chargecooler system to run cooler for longer, the radiator fits neatly behind the bumper and requires no modifications to fit, using the OEM mounts and the original coolant connectors. To protect the larger core in its vulnerable position at the front of the car, there is also a (removable) stone guard. Finished in a high-quality powder-coated black finish, the comprehensive fitting kit includes all fixtures and a detailed instruction fitting guide.
