Scorpion is pleased to announce a range of exhaust options for the AUDI S3 8Y Sportback.   Available for the application is a T304 stainless steel 80mm resonated or non-resonated, valved or non valved CAT/GPF back high flow exhaust system. The system has been developed with a high flow profile and an acoustic rear silencer to eliminate drone but enhance performance as well as soundtrack.    The lighter than OE system can be selected with 114mm polished Daytona tailpipes or our new premium quality 114mm Carbon Ascari tailpipes. Like all Scorpion products the Audi system holds a lifetime guarantee to the original purchaser.          One of the VAG group of companies Audi really got noticed as producers of performance road cars in the early 80’s with their release of the legendary Audi Ur Quattro the world’s first all-wheel drive turbo production car. Starting with a 80mm/3.15” Cat/GPF back system available as resonated, non-resonated, valved and non-valved all finished with a choice of polished, black ceramic coated or premium carbon Ascari tailpipes. The various options allow you to build a performance system to suit your individual needs and preferences. A valved and resonated system is more in line with the OE system whilst giving improved performance and a slightly deeper tone this would be our recommended option for a daily drive. Constructed from 63.5mm / 2.5" T304 stainless steel pipework, the resonator delete pipe has been designed to improve the soundtrack of the Audi S3 8Y without replacing the entire cat-back system. This low cost upgrade requires the OE cat-back to be cut. The Scorpion part then replaces the original centre silencer. The resonator delete pipe joins to the original exhaust via the supplied sleeve and clamp kit.  T304 stainless steel 63.5mm / 2.5" resonator delete pipe. Manufactured from premium 80mm/3.14” T304 Stainless Steel the Audi S3 8V 2.0T and our CNC Mandrel bent large bore design permits maximum performance by allowing a greater flow of exhaust gas. Currently available options are resonated valved, resonated non-valved, non-resonated valved and non-resonated non-valved. Valved - which uses the original motor and can be operated by the driver with the drive mode select button inside the car. There is also a non-valved which deletes the valve completely for a continuous sportier tone. Our system once fitted gives the car a measurable reduction in weight when compared to the OE system this is an improvement most drivers will find hard to rebuff. When applicable Scorpion systems are fitted with an acoustically developed silencer to ensure zero drone throughout the rev range. To compliment the Audi’s facelift aesthetics, we can offer three handpicked styles of our signature Scorpion tailpipes. For this system you can choose from quad Polished Daytona, Black Ceramic Daytona, or Carbon Ascari.  For those wanting to take the next step with performance upgrades our Scorpion technicians have also developed a de-cat downpipe which vastly improves flow and power over the OEM figures, or we offer a precision engineered Sports cat downpipe which has greater flow over OEM.
