This is usually due to the fact that the sensor is reading the added exhaust gas flow and it could identify this as a fault. The resonated cat back exhaust provides the subtlest upgrade with a refinement that gives the Clio 197 a sportier edge, without compromising on day-to-day usability. This system recorded a +10db increase in sound levels over the O/E system registering 88db in the 4,000rpm static test. For a more aggressive upgrade the non resonated cat back exhaust provides a much sportier exhaust tone increasing to 94db on the static test and by +15.2db at idle recoding 82db. With the many fitment options available in this model it is certainly possible to tailor the exhaust upgrade to suit your own specific requirements.
