All of RacingLine’s brake kits feature our unique design that allows these 5mm Hub Adaptors to be solidly, mechanically mounted onto the front face of the disc to give you that extra clearance. No more adding loose spacers onto your car. Fitting and removal of the Hub Adaptor is a simple, reversible upgrade that takes minutes to do. If you ever plan to change wheels in the future, or if you run different wheels for road or track, or winter and summer, just fit or remove the adaptors to suit. As these Hub Adaptors are mechanically locked onto the disc hub, They aren’t  classified as spacers in countries where spacers are illegal. The 5mm of extra space will mean that the OEM factory wheels will fit over our brake kits.     Racingline DSG Oil Cooler System for MQB DQ381 (7 Speed Only) – VWR29DQ381 It’s not just your engine oil that you need to protect. Your DSG gearbox is susceptible to overheating. And the higher your power, the harder you drive, the more important it is to protect it. Under hard driving, the factory DSG oil/water cooler is easily overwhelmed. Problems start to occur when oil cannot dissipate its collected heat fast enough and the oil begins to thin and degrade – losing its lubrication properties. When this happens, the DSG will protect itself and begin to lower the torque, increase shift times and in extreme circumstances even loose gear selection. The RacingLine kit solves this problem: by adding in an additional air/oil cooler positioned right in the airflow at the front of the car, oil temperatures are reduced by around 15  – 20   degrees centigrade (of course dependant on how the car is being used, ambient temps and state of tune). The kit uses a clever design which retains the factory oil/water cooling and adds to it with the thermostatically-controlled front-mounted cooler – doubling up your cooling capability when it’s needed with less heat transfer into the water system. Only when the oil exceeds normal temperatures, the thermostat opens. Oil temperature then drops significantly as it is pumped through the densely packed fins of the 10-row cooler’s large surface area mounted right in the cool airflow. Bringing a real sportscar look and feel in the braking department for demanding fast road use – all at an affordable price. All the power in the world is next to useless if your stock brakes aren’t up to it. Our new Stage 2 ‘EVO’ Monoblock Performance Brake Upgrade is an ultra-durable braking solution developed exclusively for fast-road and occasional-track VWG cars. We’ve developed these brakes for street use from our decades of motorsport experience, and, as you’d expect, they provide outstanding stopping power again and again. Yet all at an affordable price. Our lightweight Monoblock one-piece construction is usually reserved for the highest-specification motorsport kits, being vastly stiffer and lighter than the original calipers. Meaning your propshaft is held in perfect true orientation at all times. The oversize holes on the factory brackets are designed to allow several degrees of ‘twist’ on the centre bearing carrier, causing unnecessary long-term stresses on the prop, bushes and bearings. Our new Billet Underbody Braces replace these weak braces with intricately machined aluminium replacements, greatly improving stiffness, giving much better exhaust clearance and even look great! CNC Machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 Aluminium, each brace has been engineered to remove unnecessary material whilst still increasing rigidity. With any 3″ diameter exhaust system, the OE brace gives insufficient clearance. If you drive one of the smaller all wheel drive VWG models, it will use the Haldex system. It’s a clever coupling system that allows the rear drive to be brought in only as it is needed when front wheels loose traction. What does it do? The Haldex oil is very specific and promotes friction between the faces of the multi-plate clutch setup. Inevitably, this wear between the plates causes minute particles to slowly build up as a sludge within the oil. This sludge builds up around the pump’s oil strainer, which gradually stops the Haldex system from working properly. Many owners have experienced their AWD car slowly becoming FWD as this filter blocks up.
