This valve is an upgrade for the 2.0 turbocharged M133 DE20 LA (265 kW 355BHP version)  engine found in the Mercedes AMG A45 upto 2015. The engine as supplied by AMG has a port for a dump valve on the side of the turbo, but it is blanked off. Whilst this is fine for the stock level of tune, as the boost is turned up when the car is remapped, driveability can be effected and the car can stutter on hard acceleration, which ultimately will reduce the life of the turbo. Our valve bolts straight up to the turbo and is supplied with appropriate hardware in order to source vacuum to operate the valve. The valve features an aluminium piston for longevity, and is fully serviceable and can be rebuilt with a range of springs to suit your level of power. "Fitted to my Facelift A45 AMG. Takes some time to fit but once installed in my opinion is well worth it. Sounds great, loud enough to put a smile on your face but not intrusive or "ricery". Also a great add on for anyone going Stage 2. While developing and testing our range of chargecooler radiators of Mercedes flagship A45 AMG, we took the time to develop a DSG oil cooler kit to reduce the high DSG gearbox oil temperature experienced under prolonged and high loads testing.    The large 13-row oil cooler is installed in the nearside lower bumper vent aperture that is unused on UK vehicles. This position allows optimum airflow to reduce oil temperatures. This kit has been re-engineered to fit face-lift Mercedes A45 AMG Models from 2016 onwards. Please note that the Pre-Face lift DSG oil cooler kit (FMDSG0C1) and Face-lift DSG oil cooler kit (FMDSG0C2) are not cross compatible due to the reprofiled bumper on later face-lift vehicles.   This kit is supplied with all the brackets and hardware required to install the 13-row oil cooler and CNC machined billet aluminium adapter plate.     Quality powder coated oil cooler housing bracket CNC machined and anodised adapter plate CNC machined and anodised banjo fittings Pre-assembled high-quality double braided AN-6 oil lines.       We recommend only using the correct Mercedes DSG oil to top up the gearbox (not supplied). Not only is it beautifully designed, it has been created to capture the maximum amount of harmful contaminants, including oil deposits, unused fuel vapours and moisture, all of which would ordinarily make their way back through to the inlet of the engine. Extensive testing has proven our oil catch tank’s ability to effectively reduce sludge and carbon build up, in turn allowing the Mercedes M133 engine to both breathe and perform more efficiently. It can therefore be viewed as a genuine performance enhancing product and one we recommend any owner of this vehicle seriously consider, particularly if they are planning more advanced power tuning at a later date. The 0.4l (400cc) catch tank boasts a slew of features intended to make it both easy to check and simple to drain, including a dipstick for level inspection and a well-placed drain tap. The design of the hose kit has also been carefully considered, hence its inner tube which is constructed from anti-static smooth fuel resistant nitrile rubber. This is paired with an outer cover made from reinforced stainless-steel wire braid (a Forge specialty), specifically a partial inner braid and a full cover outer braid. We developed this complex arrangement in order for the tank to be resistant to both pressure expansion and vacuum collapse, and also to enable the kit to function within a clearly defined temperature range -54°C to +150°C (-65°F to 300°F) Finally, the kit features a pair of stainless steel reinforced oil resistant hoses with black external braiding, which combine with the supplied fittings to form an OEM-looking product when installed, so much so that the engine cover can still be clipped into place!
