The Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost is no doubt one of the hottest small engines cars on the market and a clear favorite of the younger generation of drivers on the road. When tuning these cars we have seen huge gains of up to 175bhp due to endless late night and development work on our very own demonstration car. However, while developing our Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost, we have found that the most restrictive element is the disappointingly sized diameter of the standard down pipe, this has been a large hurdle for us to over come before developing our own VUDU Decat for the Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost. To help increase the high flow offering an opportunity for us to really squeeze the true potential out of this fantastic engine, we manufactured the VUDU Decat Downpipe to replace the disappointingly sized standard down pipe.   This Large-bore Downpipe and De-Cat Section for the Fiesta EcoBoost 1.0 Turbo Zetec, Zetec-S & ST-Line will fit to all aftermarket exhaust systems also enhancing the note of the exhaust system of your choice giving it more of a throaty sound track. The VUDU Rear Engine Mount is designed as a direct replacement for the Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost and the Ford Fiesta ST180. After trialing a few average Rear Engine Mounts over the years, we decided that we would manufacture one of our own that would outperform the competition. Expertly manufactured from a single piece of aerospace grade T606 billet aluminium with filleted sides to reduce weight, our VUDU Rear Engine Mount looks and fits perfectly on your Ford Fiesta ST180 or Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost.  After completing the visual aspect of our Rear Engine Mount, we then had to add the correct bushes. We tested various bushes in order to gain the bush that would perform the greatest. The first bushes were a little stiff and caused a little too much vibration, whereas at the other end of the scale, the second bushes we tried were too soft which meant they were comfortable but a little too tame for what we required. After trial and error, we settled on bushes that had the right balance between performance and comfort. KEY FEATURES T6 Billet machined aluminium Deep laser etching Perfectly balanced at 172 grams ensuring optimal shifts Hard anthracite anodising Removable insert allowing full customisation This gear knob will fit all the Ford range including Fiesta st MK6/MK7/MK8, Focus ST and Focus RS MK2/MK3. We have been testing this product on our in house demo Fiesta MK7 and MK8 along with our latest edition Focus ST250. We have been experimenting with weight to ensure silky smooth and efficient gear changing making you feel totally engaged with your performance car. During testing, we found if the weight was too much the driver lost the feel of the gear gate and therefore lost some confidence in locating the correct gear. Taking too much weight out of the gear knob left the changes feeling clunky and indirect after trying with several different weight variations we felt that 170 grams was optimal even though this is marginally lighter than the Fiesta ST MK8 OE part. The VUDU weighted gear knob requires no mechanical background or tools for fitting and takes less than a couple of minutes and totally transforms the look and feel of your fast Ford.
