This intercooler has been specifically designed for the VW T5.1 fitted with the twin turbo diesel. Using a combination of greater core size and thermal efficiency, we have been able to improve the cooling of the intake charge air, which in turn means more power when compared to the original intercooling, and may lead to greater longevity of engine components, as heat related stress is decreased. Our own test vehicle consistantly showed that our intercooler reduced the intake air temperature by a further 10°C when compared to the original intercooler, and had a lower resistance resulting in a pressure drop. This Oil Cooler kit has been specifically designed to fit the VW T5.1 fitted with the twin turbo diesel engine (180hp). The kit includes a filter sandwich adaptor which incorporates a thermostat, so that the additional cooling only takes place when required. The kit also includes a 13 row oil cooler and braided oil hoses, mounting brackets, and everything else required. Please note: This product can only be installed in combination with our Intercooler FMINTVWT52 This kit is ideally suited to tuned vehicles or those that will experience extended periods of additional load e.g. when towing, or when operating in warm climates. Uprated Silicone boost hose kit for the VW T5.1, 2.0TDI 84/102/114/140BHP The Forge Motorsport kit comprises of four silicone hoses complete with CNC alloy couplers and the highest quality stainless steel clamps. These hoses will withstand greater temperatures and pressures compared with the OEM hoses and they look fantastic. Available in your choice of red, blue, or black. The hoses replace the two intercooler hoses and throttle body hose,   The Forge silicone hoses in this kit have been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Fluorosilicone.
