Replaces BMW OEM Part 13718601684        The Forge free-flowing charge pipe kit will increase flow and improve the reliability of your B58 engine from BMW. These high-quality aluminium pipes are a direct replacement and will fit in place of the OEM plastic pipe. The OEM pipe can become brittle and fail under increased boost pressure, so we have developed a replacement with an increased diameter, which helps to reduce turbulence and maximize flow into the engine. Product Description This alloy non-resonated boost hard pipe replaces the turbo resonated turbo outlet pipe (runs from the turbo down the left hand side of the engine) on the 1.8T 225 hp engines, as found in the Audi TT S3 225 hp (8N), SEAT Leon Cupra R (uses original mounting brackets) The removal of the noise reasonator allows unobstructed flow on the discharge, or boost side of the turbo. We have also modified the “dent” in the underside of the pipe that allows it to clear the cam cover and made it as shallow as possible, to just allow the pipe to fit, but not overdone as to impede airflow. These combined modifications give quicker spool up of the turbo and effectively reduces the load placed upon it. Please note that due to the production process the pipe may have minor surface marks.

This will NOT work with the OEM intercooler. This product will only work with aftermarket intercoolers with an outlet size of 63-67mm (Cold Side). It works flawlessly with the Forge intercooler FMINT15. After already developing many performance upgrades for the Hyundai I30N & Veloster N the Forge Motorsport engineers have found another area for improvement of Hyundai’s Hot hatch. This time it is the boost pipe which runs from the outlet of the intercooler to the intake manifold. When looking at the OE hose it was clear to see there was room for improvement so after a lot of testing, we settled on a 70mm outer diameter mandrel bent alloy hard pipe and silicone joiners. Alloy billet CNC machine bosses are used, so that all original attachments fit perfectly. When compared to the OE hose the improvements are clear to see, the inlet bore diameter has now been increased from 51mm to 70mm outer diameter. The increase in diameter of the Forge pipe work allows for a greater air flow which in turn maximises the volume of air being forced into the engine. This has the benefit of improving both performance and efficiency especially on vehicles running after market software. This is a must have product for anyone trying to achieve the maximum performance from their I30N/Veloster N. We have also incorporated a 2 x 1/8th" water meth/nitrous boss into the design for tuners to keep inlet air temperatures on the safer side while pushing the 2.0 Hyundai engine to its limits and aiding the option for a maximum power output. Why not add gold tape to the alloy pipe to further reflect any heat soak from the engine and keep inlet charge temperatures as low as possible. The Gold tape comes on a 5metre roll allowing you to apply it to your Forge Motorsport product. Supplied with a durable black powder coated finish or Raw aluminium. Designed as a direct replacement for the OEM plastic boost pipes used on BMW S55 engine found in the BMW F80 M3, F82 and F83 M4 models, which have been known to fail with cracks forming along the plastic welded section between the main tube and plastic coupler. Manufactured in 60mm diameter Aluminium tube with CNC machined couplers. To ensure an OEM quality fit both hardpipes have been carefully contoured to fit in the restricted space between the engine and chassis. Boost Pipe for BMW 135 F20   -   Many of you will already be aware that the original plastic charge pipe is a real weak link on the N55, and over the last 6 months we have received many requests after the charge pipes fail. If you take a look at the images above you can see how the coupler becomes brittle leading to cracking, fracture and ultimate failure.
