1.0 Ecoboost intake hardpipe This Forge Motorsport mandrel bent aluminium pipe replaces the original Ford plastic pipe between the intake and turbo inlet, at the rear of the engine bay. Not only does it lift the appearance of the engine bay, but it also smoothes out the airflow and has a marginal increase in diameter to maximise the amount of air getting into the engine. An alloy and silicone replacement boost pipe kit for the Megane 225/230. The silicone couplers are available in a choice of red, blue, or black. Please note: In order to install this kit you will also require the hose with a "T" piece connection (FMRMBHT) if you have a blow off valve connection or if you do not have a blow off valve, you will need a straight hose (FMRMBHS). These items must be ordered in addition to this kit. Please see the related items below. We are selling this kit in this way as many owners already have the blow off valve hose if they have a valve installed, or already have the straight hose if they have fitted a boost hose kit. In this hard pipe kit, the hoses and associated pipework are of 51mm diameter. This gives a big improvement on the restrictive 43mm standard pipes, which in places are quite restrictive. forge Motorsport High Flow Intake Hardpipe for Mini 1.5/2.0 Turbo
This free flowing single piece CNC mandrel bent pipe is a direct replacement for the OEM plastic intake pipe and restrictive resonator. These parts have been developed at our UK HQ in Gloucester. This high flow intake pipe can be used with the OEM air box or alternatively with the full Forge intake system (FMINDF56). The intake pipe features CNC machined outlets therefore, any OEM plug-in parts (i.e. blow by heater and vacuum take off) are a no-hassle direct fit. Designed as a direct replacement for the brittle OEM plastic boost pipes used on the Mini F56 JCW models. Manufactured in Aluminium tube with CNC machined couplers and smoothed formed mandrel bent aluminium single piece pipe work with hand TIG welded couplers providing an unrestricted internal flow. High quality silicone hoses are also included. To ensure an OEM quality fit, both hard pipes have been carefully contoured to fit in the restricted space between the engine and chassis. No further modifications are necessary to the bodywork or pipework.
