Rather than two halves bolted together, our design takes a complex 5-axis CNC machining procedure to build, usually reserved only for the highest-specification motorsport kits.The result is a 6-piston caliper that is both stiffer and lighter than any other, combined with exceptional cooling characteristics and stunning detailing. Despite the size of these calipers, they weigh in significantly under the mass of the factory ones. Racingline Silicone Boost Hose Kit for MQB EA888 Gen.3 – VWR140004 The RacingLine Boost Hose package replaces the original rubber charge pipes with beautiful smooth-flowing silicone replacements, uniquely reinforced with internal wiring for guaranteed stiffness under the demands of high heat and boost levels.The kit is a direct OEM replacement: simply remove the old weak, flexible rubber hoses and replace them with our five-piece kit. Simple. Racingline DSG Oil Cooler System for MQB DQ381 (7 Speed Only) – VWR29DQ381 It’s not just your engine oil that you need to protect. Your DSG gearbox is susceptible to overheating. And the higher your power, the harder you drive, the more important it is to protect it. Under hard driving, the factory DSG oil/water cooler is easily overwhelmed. Problems start to occur when oil cannot dissipate its collected heat fast enough and the oil begins to thin and degrade – losing its lubrication properties. When this happens, the DSG will protect itself and begin to lower the torque, increase shift times and in extreme circumstances even loose gear selection. The RacingLine kit solves this problem: by adding in an additional air/oil cooler positioned right in the airflow at the front of the car, oil temperatures are reduced by around 15  – 20   degrees centigrade (of course dependant on how the car is being used, ambient temps and state of tune). The kit uses a clever design which retains the factory oil/water cooling and adds to it with the thermostatically-controlled front-mounted cooler – doubling up your cooling capability when it’s needed with less heat transfer into the water system. Only when the oil exceeds normal temperatures, the thermostat opens. Racingline Magnetic Drain Plug for EA888 Gen.3 Engines (with Plastic Oil Sump) – VWR180004 Racingline’s Magnetic Oil Sump Drain Plug is now available for the 1.8 & 2.0 TSI EA888 gen3 and 2.0 TSI gen3B engines. These engines use a plastic oil pan, meaning that normal metal, screw-in sump plugs simply can’t be used. Our new ‘True-Lock’ fitting system means that, at last, you can protect your engine. By attracting and separating out the minute abrasive and ferrous metal particles that are carried by the oil, it prevents them from circulating throughout your engine’s lubrication systems. The harder your engine works, the greater the risk of nasty metallic debris, the greater the benefit of using a magnetic sump plug.
