Our ECS Tuning Rear Stress Bar Kit stiffens the chassis in the rear of your Volkswagen MK7/MK7.5 Golf, GTI, Golf R in the area most prone to chassis flex during hard cornering or changes in road surfaces. Our Stress Bar helps to stiffen the rear chassis from undesired torsional flexing of the body which allows for faster turn-in speed and flatter cornering, while reducing chassis creaks and groans. Our Rear Stress Bar Kit achieves all of these great benefits with little intrusion in the cabin, maximizing cargo area, while maintaining functionality with the rear seatbacks in all positions, with no noticeable increase in NVH. The entire assembly is easily removed in minutes and requires no permanent drilling or cutting into the body.   PART DESIGN In-house designed and engineered in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility, using FARO ARM laser scanning technology for precise fitment  Upper mounting brackets effectively grab the inside of the rear seat latch anchor Upper mounting brackets are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and are finished in a black anodized coating Rear Stress bar is made from heavy duty .120" wall DOM steel tubing, powdercoated in a tough wrinkle black finish and features a turnbuckle style adjustment for simple on-car tensioning Heavy duty zinc-plated rod ends with LH and RH threads feature high quality bearings and locking jam nuts to secure final adjustments Total kit adds only 7 pounds Upgradeable to our "Stage 2 Add-On Kit" which provide two lower braces, brackets and a union assembly to further tie the rear chassis together (see ES3575757)    KIT CONTENTS Upper mounting brackets and hardware  Upper stress bar with rod ends and jam nuts    PERFORMANCE FEATURES By tensioning the body together in the largest void of the vehicle, body flex is reduced. Strut tower bars are an excellent and common handling upgrade that work by bracing the strut towers together to reduce chassis flex during cornering. ECS Tuning has designed and tested this strut brace in house to increase chassis rigidity and improve handling during aggressive cornering in your MK7/MK7.5 GTI, Golf R or MK7 Jetta. Our strut bar is made from heavy duty 4130 steel and bolts to our 6061 billet aluminum strut bar brackets for a rigid chassis connection. The factory charge pipes and rubber couplers on your 2.0T FSI engine were never designed to handle the stress and abuse of higher boost levels much beyond stock. When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, inferior rubber material, and small diameter tubing, it's easy to see why your intercooler pipes and couplers should be replaced, even on stock engines.  Our in-house designed and engineered High Flow Throttle Body Pipe Kit features mandrel bent, bead rolled, powdercoated aluminum plumbing from the outlet of the intercooler directly to the throttle body, along with smoother flowing silicone couplers, stainless steel T-Bolt clamps and all new installation accessories for an easy, direct bolt on installation.    PART DESIGN Tubing - 2.50" OD CNC-mandrel bent aluminum with bead rolled ends and Tig-welded factory-location MAP sensor flange and noise pipe connection. The details matter!  Dress up your engine bay by removing the cheap and generic plastic cap and replacing it with a full billet cap - not just an overlay.  Designed and engineered in-house by ECS Tuning, this precision machined billet aluminum cap is just what you need!  Our caps are made out of a solid piece of 6061-T6 billet aluminum and Type II black anodized for appearance and corrosion resistance.  This cap is not only designed to look great, featuring a post-machined universal "brake fluid" symbol, but fit and function just like the factory part with improved ergonomics.  The interior is designed to retain the OE gasket, simply transfer the gasket from your OEM cap to our ECS Billet Cap. The details matter!  Dress up your engine bay by removing the cheap and generic plastic cap and replacing it with a full billet cap - not just an overlay.  Designed and engineered in-house by ECS Tuning, this precision machined billet aluminum cap is just what you need!  Our caps are made out of a solid piece of 6061-T6 billet aluminum and Type II black anodized for appearance and corrosion resistance.  This cap is not only designed to look great, featuring a post-machined universal "brake fluid" symbol, but fit and function just like the factory part with improved ergonomics.  The interior is designed to retain the OE gasket, simply transfer the gasket from your OEM cap to our ECS Billet Cap. Enhance the intake system on your 2015+ Volkswagen GTI or Golf R to its fullest potential with our ECS Tuning Performance Air Inlet Scoops! Strategically placed within the grille, these help to grab and direct ambient air right into your aftermarket or modified OEM intake system's opening.  The factory grille leaves provisions that allow intake air into the inlet duct on the passenger side but leaves out a direct flow-path to the air inlet on the driver's side. From aftermarket dual air intake ducts to DIY'ers modifying their OEM grille to allow for a more direct route on the driver's side, our Product Development Team saw an opportunity to serve the aftermarket with a clean, OEM-type solution that not only provides for a cleaner install, but directs cool outside air directly into the air intake passage(s). To help you achieve the best results during installation each kit includes an adhesive-backed vinyl trim template for both left and right side positions that align to OEM features on the grille.
