A direct replacement for the original plastic tank, the AIRTEC Motorsport header tank is made from lightweight alloy and comes in a natural silver or high quality powder coated black finish. It also  features a sight glass to view the coolant level and comes with an uprated high pressure cap. The tank uses original fixing points, hoses and connectors so no drilling or cutting is required and fitting is a simple process. Developed at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’re proud to launch our billet PCV baffle plate aimed at 2.0 Duratec engine owners who wish to fit an external oil catch can or improve their engine’s PCV set up with a simple, bolt on modification for track or fast road use. This billet baffle plate replaces the car’s original Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) plate and valve set up. Machined from billet aluminium, the plate allows the simple fitment of an external oil catch can via one, or both, of the M22x1.5 take-offs that have been machined into the plate. The kit also includes a one-way valve and adapter boss and the plate is finished in anodised black with an engraved AIRTEC Motorsport logo. Internally, the plate features extra baffles machined into the design in order to increase the surface area the engine crankcase vapour passes over, which decreases the amount of oil that is able to enter the intake. This helps to reduce carbon deposit build-up from passing back into the engine and forming an oily sludge on all parts of the intake system, which reduces air flow and therefore performance over time. Oil catch cans are vital preventative additions to ensure the performance and efficiency of Direct Injection engines doesn’t deteriorate over time due to unwanted blow-by gases and vapours, which can enter the engine from a CCV port or PCV valve. This is particularly prevalent with the EcoBoost engine, which can be known for poor reliability without good preventative maintenance.   AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to developing a catch can kit specifically for the Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost Mk7 model utilises the heat shield from our AIRTEC Motorsport Stage 2 induction kit to attach the mounting bracket. As a result, it requires the induction kit to be fitted first and will not work with other induction kits or the original air box.  It features a high-quality laser cut bracket finished in powder-coated satin black, which allows the catch can to attach neatly in place.
