During the development of our AIRTEC Motorsport enclosed air box and oil cooler kits, we created an additional comprehensive solution to further improving the car’s cooling ability and reduce air intake temperatures on track or during fast road use.
With vast experience in developing uprated cooling packages for a variety of modified track and road cars, the challenge with the Mk8 Fiesta ST was the very limited available space directly behind the open grille area. As a result, we developed an innovative air guide solution to help direct larger volumes of cold air towards the original top air intake feed. The size of the air guides are not only larger than standard but the guide also features a side air duct, utilising the space in the upper right-hand section of the grille area to feed cold air through trunking to either the Enclosed Induction Kit or our soon to be released AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit.
Made from aluminium, the kit includes all fixtures and fittings, including instructions, for a simple bolt-on installation. The kit is designed to integrate seamlessly with the car’s existing features and requires no drilling or cutting, so is completely reversible if need be.
Its improved cooling efficiency and easy fitment makes it an essential modification for all modified Mk8 ST models.

After extensive market research Forge Motorsport are proud to release a state of the art metalized polymer laminated glass cloth with adhesive backing that is both extremely light and capable of handling continuous radiant temperatures of up to 450°C.
It reflects up to 80% of all radiant heat, whilst offering weight savings against other heat reflecting materials. Forge Motorsport's gold reflective heat barrier requires minimal clearance and is an extremely pliable material with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing that is easy to apply and remove.
As used in WRC and F1, make no mistake this gold reflective heat barrier tape is of excellent quality and superb value for money.
When used correctly this tape can be used to protect intake components thus lowering IATs resulting in a more efficient and reliable engine cycle.

Direct fit to 1.0 Mk8 Ecoboost Fiesta
The Fiesta Mk8 1.0 Ecoboost is fitted with a single cold air intake tube and quite restrictive when adding power. This will restrict the amount of air able to be passed to the air filter assembly and subsequently to the engine and turbo lowering any potential power output.
The Mk8 ST comes with a very similar setup but with dual feeds which is a direct fit onto the 1.0 increasing that much needed Cold Air Flow.
Will not fit standard 1.0 airbox - requires intake kit to be fitted.
