When you fit a Forge turbo actuator you will be able to fine tune and manage your specific boost requirements, this will allow for improved response and better control. This product is built with a predetermined actuator spring suitable for, or slightly above factory boost levels. The actuator can be assembled with a stronger spring upon request for tuned vehicles, and where a higher boost level is required. Please contact us directly concerning this process. These wheel spacers are hubcentric These CNC machined precision alloy wheel spacers are 13 mm thick with a dual 5 stud bolt pattern for both 100 and 112mm PCD fitments. The spacers are anodised black to inhibit corrosion and "bonding" to the wheel or hub. These spacers are suitable for most vehicles produced by Volkswagen Group. A 13mm spacer will give an overall track increase of 26mm when fitted to both sides of an axle. These spacers are priced and sold per pair. Extended wheel bolts are not supplied. The oil filter housing on modern VAG engines does not allow for the previously common takeoff plates to fit under the filter and divert oil into an oil cooler mounted elsewhere on the vehicle. Instead they now use a oil to water cooling ‘block’ bolted to the front of the engine, and in many cases an undersize filter, or a paper drop in element, which prevents easy fitting of an oil cooler. As many people have found, if the vehicle is tuned, or if it is towing a heavy load, oil temperatures can rocket, with oil temperatures over 120°C (250°F) being easily achieved, which is close to the point that engine oil starts to break down. The Forge Motorsport FMOC2 replaces the oil to water cooling block, and although it still allows coolant to circulate, it more importantly gives two M22 takeoffs which, when fitted with the appropriate adaptor, allow fitment of oil cooler lines between an -6 and an -10 in size which can then be attached to an external oil cooler. Oil temperatures are stabilised, and engines can be worked harder for longer. To confirm fitment, please check the list of compatible vehilces below. This plate replaces the VAG OEM Part No. 03L 117 021 C. It fits ALL of the 2.0TDi and 1.6 TDi engines in the vehicles listed below. Now you can fine tune your Blow Off/Diverter Valve to the exact needs of your engine with this complete tuning kit. If you are finding that the valve is dumping more than required, or if you are losing boost pressure it is normally an indication that a stronger spring is required. Alternatively, if the valve is failing to dump it may be necessary to install a weaker spring. Please note that fitting a stronger spring into a valve will not increase boost pressure, unless existing pressure is being lost. Failure to allow the valve to operate by installing a spring which is too strong, may cause damage to the turbocharger. Please also note that the red coded springs should not be installed in the DVR or DV007 diaphragm valves.
