Oil catch cans are vital preventative additions to ensure performance of Direct Injection engines doesn’t deteriorate over time. AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to developing a catch can kit specifically for the Golf R model utilises the available space to integrate seamlessly within the engine bay. It features a high-quality, laser cut bracket finished in powder coated black, which allows the catch can to attach neatly in place and also locates the new washer fluid tank filler. The can itself features an internal micron filter, baffle and dipstick and detaches to allow easy maintenance. It comes with a comprehensive fitting kit that includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as a detailed installation guide.   Why do I need a catch can?The original oil breather set up can cause issues with carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that covers parts of the intake and inlet valves, which reduces air flow and therefore performance. Once the build-up has formed, it’s a costly process to clean, so it makes sense to take preventative measures in order to avoid carbon build-up forming. Here we have a brand new product for the MK3.5 Focus including the ST/RS models. These slam panel ends tidy up the appearance of the area around the rear of the headlight. The kit is universal for cars with or without bonnet gas struts.  Much thicker than other panels on the market and currently available in our smooth plastic, gloss black plastic, textured plastic for the OEM look and carbon fibre effect plastic. Carbon fibre, gloss black and textured panels are supplied ready to fit to the car. Fitment is straight forward and takes 15 minutes; no cutting or drilling is required to fit the items. Comes complete with fitting kit and instructions. Fitting video will also be available soon! The variances in the air conditioning piping has meant that we are offering this product with the option of a hole for the air conditioning pipe. Some of these pipes stick up further than others. If you opt not have the hole, this can result in a small gap (3-4mm) between the front of the headlight and the panel. Our ECS Tuning Textured Black Engine Cover transforms the engine bay in your VW/Audi MQB Gen3 vehicle with sharp styling, covering what needs covered and leaving the rest to the already-great appearance of the engine bay. Our design features incorporate the factory intake manifold design elements, while covering the unsightly, plastic parts that are often difficult to keep clean. Oil changes and between service top-offs can be completed with the engine cover in place as we designed ample clearance for the oil filter housing, dipstick and oil fill cap. Exposed ignition cutouts allow for visibility of upgraded coil packs.     In most vehicle applications, the corrugated turbo inlet hose found in the intake system is not designed for performance or modification. It was designed to get the job done, and when adding a performance filter, intake, or tune the stock inlet hose can start to show it's weakness when suction from the turbocharger is increased. The ECS Carbon Fiber Turbo Inlet Pipe was designed in-house and made with high quality hand laid carbon fiber layers providing a strong and secure fit. A smooth interior provides unimpeded airflow, while the carbon fiber exterior adds an appearance upgrade to any engine bay.    PART DESIGN The carbon fiber pipe is constructed from 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber, gloss clear coated for UV and heat protection for continuous operating temperatures of up to 300°. Designed to fit perfectly in place of the factory accordion pipe, our CAD design assures a smooth gradual transition from the intake/airbox to the turbo inlet. The included silicone hose couplers allow clean fitment of any intake setup; The smooth, straight coupler is used with a hard mounted intake pipe configurations to the engine (such as ECS Kohlefaser Luft-Technik mounted to the cylinder head) The accordion rubber coupler is used with OE-type mounting configurations (such as OEM airbox)   PERFORMANCE FEATURES With its smooth interior surface as compared to the OEM accordion tube's ribbed, turbulent interior you can expect a smoother transition from air filter to the turbo inlet. The ECS Tuning Textured Fuse Box / ECU Cover adds unique, affordable styling to the underhood of your MQB platform vehicle without any permanent modifications. Easily installs with our  conveniently pre-applied 3M tape to the underside of the cover. It's unique styling not only covers the black plastic fuse box lid, but it also has a wing that extends over the unsightly ECU clamshell bracket to further enhance engine bay styling.    PART DESIGN Our in-house engineering team was tasked with making our cover fit perfectly atop the fuse box lid and to also cover the ugly ECU clamshell bracket. The ECS Carbon Fiber Fuse Box / ECU Cover adds unique, authentic carbon fiber styling to the underhood of your MQB platform vehicle without any permanent modifications. Easily installs with our  conveniently pre-applied 3M tape to the underside of the cover. It's unique styling not only covers the black plastic fuse box lid, but it also has a wing that extends over the unsightly ECU clamshell bracket to further enhance engine bay styling.   PART DESIGN Our in-house engineering team was tasked with making our cover fit perfectly atop the fuse box lid and to also cover the ugly ECU clamshell bracket. We recommend removing the engine cover while performing an engine oil and filter service to avoid engine cover damage.  Further design considerations were strategically made such as clearance for "most" aftermarket intake systems, ECS catch can breather hoses, OEM and ECS oil dipstick functionality and perfect accommodations to clear the ignition coil harness. Styling amongst the engine itself were added into our design including the intake manifold plenum shape where our engine cover perfectly wraps and covers the unpleasing OE plastic intake manifold. Individual intake runner profiles compliment the OE design and further add engine bay styling; being careful not to take any mechanical styling away from the engine our engineers worked to keep the engine looking like an engine. Slots between the intake runner covers keep cleaning and maintenance down as no dirt can be trapped between the runners.  Installing the ECS Engine Cover is simple! The included ball studs thread quickly into the OE plastic intake manifold bosses. From there the pre-installed engine cover mounting grommets snap right over the OE and ECS ball studs. The ECS Engine Cover can then be installed or removed just like the factory cover without any further tools needed.  Sold as a complete kit, our Carbon Fiber Engine Cover kit includes 2 specific ball studs for installation and a complete, pre-assembled Engine Cover.
