We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of our VUDU Magnetic Oil Refining plug.  We all know the importance of regular oil services on Fords range of Ecoboost engines especially when they are tuned and driven spiritedly exactly like they should be. The main goal for us all is to keep our pride and joy running as healthy and fast as possible. We recognised the lack of a magnet built into the Ford OE sump plug and went ahead prototyping and testing with a magnetic VUDU plug, the results were incredible. As a starting point we ran the VUDU magnetic plug in our Fiesta ST180 Race car to test the new product to the maximum on circuit. After many heat cycles and use in a harsh environment we removed the plug to check deposits and clean prior to testing in our road car. Any performance cars oil will benefit from a magnetic sump plug this is something almost every performance car specialist will advise during service intervals. The VUDU Oil Refining plug will cleanse your oil whilst its circulated within the engine and can be simply cleaned during your next service and re used. The magnet within the VUDU Oil plug is outstandingly strong and will attract any metal fillings that pass within the sump also detracting from potential damage they could cause. Machined from Billet alluminium T6061 aerospace grade material and supplied with seating O-Ring this product is a direct replacement for the Ford OE part. once the Ford OE part has been replaced with the VUDU magnetic plug there will be no need to change again during the cars lifespan unless damaged during removal and refit.

During testing, we found if the weight was too much the driver lost the feel of the gear gate and therefore lost some confidence in locating the correct gear. Taking too much weight out of the gear knob left the changes feeling clunky and indirect after trying with several different weight variations we felt that 170 grams was optimal even though this is marginally lighter than the Fiesta ST MK8 OE part. The VUDU weighted gear knob requires no mechanical background or tools for fitting and takes less than a couple of minutes and totally transforms the look and feel of your fast Ford. Our new VUDU Ford Fiesta ST180 decat downpipe has been in the test and development stages for over 4 months on our in-house 340bhp road going demo car. we have tested this part in the harshest of enviroments including fast road, track and drag racing. Ensuring all our VUDU product range is put through huge amounts of heat and vibration cycles proves we have the finest quality products on the market. As always we use the highest quality grade of materials to produce this Fiesta decat pipe and it is manufactured by some of the most talented and highly skilled engineers on the planet this not only ensures longevity but ultimate performance at the same time. The welding on this particular decat pipe is beautiful and the craftsmanship is second to none it far outweighs anything we have found on the market thus far. The material spec of this VUDU Decat downpipe can be found below. Stainless steel  304 is the most versatile and the most widely used of all stainless steels.  Its chemical composition, mechanical properties, weldability and corrosion/oxidation resistance provide the best all-around performance stainless steel available on the market.  It also has excellent low-temperature properties and responds well to hardening by cold working. Part of our commitment to research and development of the VUDU product range means we decided to test the flow properties of this decat pipe to the absolute limit utilising our in-house Dynapack 2000HP hub dyno. We used our VT330R Hybrid turbo kit on our Voodoo demonstrator car to push the limits of its capability the results where astonishing managing to achieve 318WHP and 366BHP proving that not only could the VUDU Fiesta ST180 decat handle heat and vibration testing far beyond is required use but also perform to the highest of standard. see example graph below.
